Hey, thought I’d share with you a blog interview from over at the FileMaker Addict blog site. If you haven’t see it, Tim Dietrich interviews a long time in house developer. It’s neat because it shows how a lot of us FileMaker developers have the same type of back story. We were asked to create a database or stepped up to the plate on our own due to a unique need, we stumbled along until we got the bug to do FileMaker Design as a full time career.
There are a few paragraphs about how FileMaker Security was in the past that I simply LOVED! It is so weird when you have to back peddle to the past when you have a client that is still on FileMaker 6 and earlier. Heck, I even find doing FileMaker 7 work a little weird! Amazing how you can get used to such features as tabs, custom menus, custom functions, script debugger and the like!
Check it out here!
