I stumbled across your blog looking for some answers to what might be a simple question concerning FileMaker 9. I’m trying to send an e-mail to 100+ parents, but as of right now, the only way I can do this is by sending one e-mail to myself and then putting all their addresses in the BCC line. I’m pulling their addresses from fields in a found set. But is there a way to send each recipient its own e-mail to avoid the possible spam hits?

I’ve looked into some of the available plugins for FileMaker, but I’d really like to be able to use Outlook to send the e-mails.

It sounds like you are so close to the setup for this. You will want to make sure you have the “Create:” set to “One email using data from the current record” and then click the check box below the “BCC:” labeled “For each message, collect addresses across the found set.”

The above configuration will create one email that has all the email addresses in the found set placed into the BCC area of the outgoing email.

Here you can see the email created from example data provided by the briandunning.com web site.
