I need to ensure that a compound key is unique within a table and can't seem to figure out a sensible way to do this. If I use a calculation field to concatenate (build) by compound key I can't specify a unique validation. Access does this type of thing automatically. Any thoughts or guidance on this

Well, the easiest solution is add a field to the compound key that is always unique.

field A & field B & Field C (field with unique sequential value)
