In this example, we have 12 records for various companies. The first button will turn every text string of ABC to XYZ.

The second button will replace the Company with YeeHaw, except for the records that have DEF Company in the Company Name field.

We added some more options under the Scripts menu.

With the Perform Yee Haw Forward script, the find / replace will only function on records ahead of the current record you are viewing. The reverse is true for backward. The Perform Yee Haw All will cover all records in the found set, regardless of the record you are on. We even added a script that opens the Find / Replace dialog box, so you can experiment .

The Reset Values button will set the original 12 records back up for you. This wipes the slate clean to perform more Find / Replace tests!
