I have a very strange thing happen to me and I cannot seem to be able to fix it. I have a global container field to hold a company logo. The field has the right hand scroll bar, which doesn’t work and I cannot seem to get rid of it. The option is unchecked and grayed out, although the bar is clearly there.
I’ve done this myself and here is how it happens. If you take a scrollable text field that is about the size you want, duplicate it and convert it to a container field. The original scroll bar is still there and cannot be removed while the field is defined as a container field. The fix is to ...
- convert the field back to a text field
- on the layout, double click the field and turn off the scroll bar
- convert the field back to a container field.
