Double Clicking A FileMaker Layout Object Tool

After you use a layout tool (like the button maker tool), the selector layout tool is automaticall reselected afterwards.

The layout selector tool in the On and Off position.

So you can click the button tool, create a button and the selector tools is reselected for actions such as moving or resizing that button. If you want to draw a bunch of buttons, this back and forth selecting tools can be a drag.

Did you know that you can lock a tool by double clicking it?
