The Manage Scripts Dialog Box has a subtle Search feature (added with FileMaker 9) and it is often overlooked. There was a small search box added in the upper right corner and allows you to search for scripts by a particular name.
This search box feature can be leveraged even better with a standard naming convention for your scripts. Below you will see that I do a search for GTRR related scripts. GTRR is an acronym for Go To Related Record and describes a process to going to a set of matching related records in the current window or brining up those records in a new window. The later so you can see both the parent record(s) and the child record(s) at the same time.
Here you can see the same dialog box and the term “gtrr” added into the search box. Notice how the the script folders holding scripts with that word are show and the folders are expanded.
