Mimic The FileMaker Record Status

This is a dated example file, almost ten years old now. However, it may have some elements that beginner FileMaker developers might find interesting. In this example file, we have built two options for replacing the record status indicator that FileMaker provides. This is something you can do as a way to add other security options or save screen real estate in designing your solution.


Notice how the record status field mimics the record information you can see in the status area.

In the second example, we placed invisible buttons above the page icon that is used to navigate to the previous or next record in the found set.
