Modify The Last FileMaker Find

This option is overlooked by FileMaker users. I don’t know how many times I have perform this step at a clients office ... and then ... have the client ask me to back up and show them what I just did. Many times they say the same thing, “ I had no idea you could do that!”

It’s a very simple menu command that allows you to go back into Find mode and restore your last find settings. That gives you the opportunity to modify your search. You can add additional find requests, constrain the found set or extend the found set. I will discuss how to add to a search request, constrain it or extend it in other discussions.
